From the 'Desincarnations' series.
Influenced by Surrealism and Symbolism, this series of drawings explores the feeling of strangeness between the material experience of the body and spiritual introspection. The vulnerability of existence in constant movement anchors into the heart of the flesh to work on, and transform it. In an organized chaos, realistic portraits and organic elements collide in the esthetics of metamorphosis, delicate and monstrous at the same time. The coexistence of violence, tension and letting go invites the gaze of the spectator to roam and be absorbed in this dark and poetic narration.
